As most of you know...Joe was in France. These are some other funny pictures. The first one is his kissy face. I love his smiles. He had already been to France during a previous deployment and wasn't overly thrilled to be there. Sometimes when we hang up the phone if I'm traveling or he has duty-we'll pick a place to meet in our dreams. It was his pick- And he said .. " at the front door ". *Insert Samantha sniffles here* What's a girl to do? I called two of my girlfriends Stephanie and Kelly over for pasta and wine. Got my mind off not being able to talk/see Joe for a while. We shared a lot of stories and laughs. It was exactly what I needed.
I did ask Joe- Is this sort of fun? I mean - it's like a guys extended weekend. Guy jokes- Guy everything. None of us around to tell you what to do and/or nag you to do something (Let's face it: we only nag because our way is better). There must be a small part of it that's fun. Joe's reply, " It used to be- now I just want to be home. " I wanted to laugh and say - Good Answer. They can be trained! But I knew from the look on his face- He was serious. *Insert MORE Samantha sniffles here*
