travels, babies and more!

Japan was wonderful. Exhausting with the time change- but we're back home and getting into the swing of things again (or trying to). We moved Dee in to Toyo University and aside from looking nervous- I think she was excited to start her year long journey. And we(Joe and I) are glad we got to visit and settle her in. Should be a great year for her. We're jealous!

This cutie above is our 13 week sonogram! They can never get the kiddos heartbeat with the Doppler- so I keep getting free sonograms- woohoo! (Although when they can't find the heartbeat, I freak out and start shaking)- nerve racking! We're so amazed with the difference the 8 week picture was to the 13 week picture though.

We decided to go ahead with the quad screen which will happen in 2 weeks. So prayers, fingers crossed - that it comes back fine and we don't have to make any decisions for further testing.

How our little monkey is growing:
Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. If you're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce.

That's it for us. Oh, we did get some crappy news- Our doc only does the gender determination in the 25th week ( REALLY LATE- most get to find out week 18-week 20.) So, we won't be painting the room anytime soon- BUT we will be repairing that ceiling and getting the room as ready as possible until we CAN paint which now looks like late December.
